Hospitality Cart

Whether it’s a day of appointments or an inpatient stay, waiting long hours in the hospital can take a toll on families. Our program, the Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart, hopes to make the long hours a little easier.

This program aims to provide needed resources and comfort items to families directly in patient rooms and waiting areas. The Hospitality Cart can be found rolling through the halls stocked with hygiene and comfort items, a selection of healthy snacks, family-centered activities, games and craft kits. These items are delivered with lots of love and a smile by our caring volunteers and staff.

The Hospitality Cart program also allows Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area to serve families that we may not work with in our other programs.

The Hospitality Cart program at Ogden Regional Medical Center was launched on June 28th, 2017. We are very excited to have a program that serves Northern Utah families right in their community. In this hospital, our team of staff and volunteers bring the Cart right to the patient room. This program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday and serves patients and families on the Newborn ICU, Pediatric Unit, and Labor and Delivery.
